DearneTalk Bulletin Board Rules
Introduction
Welcome to the DearneTalk Member Bulletin Board. These rules are made to guide board members, explain how to be an active responsible member and give insight towards our expectations of membership integration, and overall provide helpful information for active involvement when engaged in all DearneTalk Bulletin Board Conversations and Topics.
Expected Behaviour
As a member of the DearneTalk Bulletin Board, you are expected to be professional, mature, respectful and helpful, to have a positive attitude, and to always follow our rules. You are solely responsible for your active posts and their contents at all times. No exceptions will be made.
If another member asks you a question, please answer it in a proportionate manner, with professional attitude and to the best of your knowledge.
Do not stalk, bully or express any comments or posts in a manner that can be construed as vulgar and/or aggressive in nature.
• Make your integration on this board interesting and within the guidance of current UK Law.
• If you do not treat the board with integrity and respect we reserve the right to terminate your membership without question.
• Your membership on the DearnTalk Bulletin Board does not give you any rights of ownership in it.
Continued:
1. The DearneTalk bulletin board is to be used for the posting of notices of:
• DearneTalk business or activities and
• Items of educational or cultural interest to the community.
• Member organizational announcements
• Business and media advertising around the community
• News and Events taking place in the community
• Community support and topical member debate
2. Notices in some boards to be considered for posting may need approval by DearneTalk moderators. Only authorized DearneTalk moderation staff may post another member's notices on these DearneTalk bulletin boards.
3. The bulletin board may be used for advertising and for commercial notices in the Designated Ads Board. Only 1 Advert per business is allowed.
4. Advertising Notices may be removed if they are deemed to be in breach of these rules.
5. All other Posts and Notices may be removed or archived, when they are no longer timely or when space is required for more current times.
6. DearneTalk does not necessarily advocate or endorse the viewpoints of any member including organizations permitted to post advertising notices on the DearneTalk bulletin board, and further,
• DearneTalk accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any item accepted for posting.
• Failure to comply with these rules may result in denial of future posting privileges.
• This policy is determined by the DearneTalk Board of Administrators and is subject to periodic review and/ or revision at the discretion of the Board Administration.
• Appeals may be submitted to the Board Admin in message format made available to the member board facilities.
• Approved by Wath-upon-Dearne.com and the DearneTalk Board of Administrators.
